The Trump family is looking to add more luxury buildings to their long list of real estate, but this time it will be located in one of the poorest areas in the country.
Trump’s sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, are looking to place some property in the Mississippi Delta.
According to the brothers, the buildings will be beneficial to the 12,000 people who reside in Cleveland, Mississippi. The plan is to start with a four-star Scion hotel that will resemble an antebellum plantation.
As of now, there is not much competition for the Trumps. There are lack of hotels, forcing visitors to stay miles away.
The problem though is that most of the residents will not be able to afford the luxury suites. With 59 percent of households earning less than $35,000 per year, families only have money for necessities.
The location will be the first of its kind, due to it being the first property to not include the Trump name.
