According to PEOPLE, Six people are dead after a small plane crashed at a golf course in Arizona on Monday night.
Scottsdale Police Department Public Information Officer Kevin Watts confirmed to PEOPLE that officers responded to the TPC Scottsdale Champions Golf Course after receiving numerous reports of a downed aircraft around 8:45 p.m.
Police said the plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Scottsdale Airport, located just south of the golf course.
None of the six occupants on board survived the crash. They have not yet named the deceased, pending identification and notification of family.
The National Transportation Safety Board will be the investigating agency, according to police.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the crash did not affect anyone on the ground, according to CNN.
